Liparis henryi Rolfe, a new record of Orchidaceae in mainland China

  • Liparis henryi Rolfe, a species within Orchidaceae, which was previously considered endemic to Taiwan, and was collected from Philippine and Vietnam later has now been confirmed to occur in mainland China, with a newly discovered population in Fangchenggang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This finding extends the known biogeographic range of the species. Detailed morphological descriptions, accompanied by high-resolution photographs, are provided to facilitate accurate identification. A voucher specimen has been deposited in the Herbarium of the Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, Shenzhen (SZG).
